A full club website for a Mid Lancashire League football club, with fixtures, results and tables that update themselves, matchday graphics generated automatically, and a reserves section.

The situation
Amateur clubs run on volunteers, and club websites die because nobody has time to update them. Wigan Rovers, founded in 1959 and playing at St James' Park in Wigan, wanted a site that would help the club grow: sponsors, players and supporters. It had to stay current without anyone touching it every week.
What we built
The site reads fixtures, results and the league table directly from the league's own published data, so it updates itself. Matchday graphics for social media, next match, full time and the table, are generated automatically in the club's colours. The reserve team has its own section fed from the FA's Full-Time system. The club adds news by dropping in a text file, no code involved. Sponsorship packages, a squad page, a season archive, calendar feeds and a contact page with directions round it off.
